Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced LSS Construction Manager to lead the integration and installation of life safety systems for a mission-critical semiconductor project in Santa Clara, CA. This full-time, onsite position requires an individual with a strong background in construction management and expertise in life safety systems design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of life safety systems including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, and other safety-related installations to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the seamless integration of life safety systems into the overall project design and execution.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of life safety systems to guarantee proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of installation processes, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring that quality and safety are prioritized throughout the construction process.
- Provide training and support to construction teams and facility managers on the proper use and maintenance of life safety systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all life safety system-related inquiries and issues on the project site.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in life safety systems are a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, specifically within mission-critical or semiconductor environments.
- In-depth knowledge of life safety codes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and coordinate diverse teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
