OnScent has temporary to potential hire for a Regulatory Assistant at our Norwood, New Jersey location. This temporary assignment is anticipated to be no more than 3 months and may have the potential to convert to hire. General hours are 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, but can be flexible and must be on site Monday to Friday..

Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, this position will be responsible to coordinate and prepare regulatory documents in accordance with industry specifics, company policies and customer requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Conduct safety reviews of fragrance formulas for regulatory compliance and customer specific requirements.
- Generate regulatory documents as required and requested for sample
- Prepare documents as per customer request
- Communicate compliance and regulatory information to customers and respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
- Communicate with suppliers on requests for regulatory
- Provide accurate and timely responses to all questions and regulatory inquiries from the Sales team.
- Work directly with Perfumers and Evaluators on regulatory requirements for fragrance creation by reviewing formulas and application use, in appropriate system / database to confirm regulatory compliance.
- Assist the Sample Lab by reviewing and assuring that all samples meet regulatory and customer requirements prior to shipping to customer.
- Maintain and manage information for the internal regulatory data
- Maintain and update documents to assure that all fragrance and product development raw materials have up to date SDS as well as any other required regulatory documentation and verify that all materials are properly classified.
- Review regulatory requirements, both customer specific and legislative in nature, and develop efficient means by which to review and report the needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
