As a Device Engineering intern, you will collaborate with the Technology Development team in Scottsdale, AZ to support the development of future medium and high voltage Power Transistors. Your tasks will include:
- Wafer-Level electrical characterization of various semiconductor devices and components using Parametric Analyzer,
- Developing automation and instrument control solutions,
- Running TCAD simulations to help understanding the operating principles of semiconductor devices.
Responsibilities
- Wafer-Level Electrical Characterization of Semiconductor Devices using Parametric Analyzers
- Summarizing data and compiling reports
- Develop scrips to help automate data collection and measurement automation
- TCAD simulation of transistors and diodes
Qualifications – External
Requirements:
- Must have a good understanding of semiconductor device physics through coursework OR research
- Previous hands-on experience with electrical characterization of MOS Transistors AND/OR Diodes.
- Experience with coding in any object oriented programing language. Knowledge on Python or TCL is a plus for this opening.
- Being familiar with TCAD simulation through coursework OR research is preferred
