Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Manager of our Municipal Engineering Division, the successful Engineer in Training will be involved primarily in municipal engineering projects and will possess a strong background working with a motivated and dynamic team of professionals located in our Abbotsford office. Successful applicants will participate in the provision of engineering services from proposal stage through planning, design, construction and commissioning of projects.
Major Job Functions:
- Site surveying (total station and GPS)
- Design of water distribution infrastructure including watermains, storage reservoirs, pump stations, and valve chambers.
- Design of sewer infrastructure including collection systems, pump stations, and forcemains.
- Preparing engineering drawings
- Coordinating project drawings and reports
- Site and construction inspections
- Preparation of project proposals
- Project management and contract administration

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and eligible for registration with the EGBC as an EIT
Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
