Requirements
Administrative Support:
- Prepare and process sales quotes, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Maintain and update customer records in CRM software.
- Work alongside internal team members, coordinating sales process duties.
- Manage correspondence between the sales team and clients.
- Receive, respond to, and resolve all issues as they relate to open revenue items regarding scheduling, equipment, scope of work, and contract terms.
- Reviews lost revenue reports to identify ways to limit and reduce losses.
- Review customer contracts to identify pricing issues and ensure all new communities are set up to fulfill work orders.
- Resolve open PO issues.
- Generate and qualify new leads and sales opportunities through methods such as cold calling, networking and referrals.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide insights to the team.
- Assist in preparing presentations for sales meetings.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with meeting sales revenue goals
- Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues.
- Support BDMs in maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Keep updated with product knowledge to assist sales efforts.
- The Business Development Administrator works a regular workweek in an office environment.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of sales experience.
- Must have demonstrated cold calling experience.
- Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers.
- Experience in the safety products industry or related work is beneficial.
