Summary: The primary responsibility of the Field Frac Mechanic III is to perform maintenance on all company equipment and provide guidance to less experienced mechanics.
Additional responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failed equipment including engine, HVAC, electrical, transmission, brake, hydraulic and communication utilizing computer diagnostic software
- Assist with equipment function checks
- Perform repairs on equipment
- Ensure all required maintenance of equipment is completed
- Certify and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Prepare and execute maintenance programs
- Inspect and approve completed repairs
- Mentor entry and lower level mechanics during equipment repairs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to identify, maintain and troubleshoot equipment including engine, electrical, suspension, transmission, brake, HVAC, diagnostic, communication and hydraulic
- have experience with Allison transmission, 9820 series
- Guide, instruct and train less experienced maintenance personnel
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug tests
- Must have own basic tools
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job
- H2S and Safeland (PEC) certification preferred but not required

Work schedule can fluctuate but tentatively will be 14 days on/ 7 days off; rotating shifts
Pay: $23 - $29/hour DOE
