ABOUT THE ROLE & WHY IT MATTERS

Onsite is looking for a skilled Videographer & Editor to create emotionally impactful video content that drives engagement and deepens connection with our audience. This is a highly creative and hands-on role where you’ll collaborate closely with the marketing team to shape compelling visual narratives that amplify Onsite’s mission. You’ll be responsible for both shooting and editing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling.

This role requires someone who understands the speed of social media, can adapt to evolving trends, and thrives in a fast-moving, creative environment. You should be comfortable balancing both creative vision and efficiency, with the ability to self-direct, problem-solve, and execute high-quality work quickly. If you have an eye for storytelling, an obsession with capturing authenticity, and a deep understanding of short-form content that performs, we’d love to meet you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Shoot and edit high-quality video content for Onsite’s social platforms (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, etc.), ensuring brand consistency and emotional impact.
• Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts, develop shot lists, and execute video strategies that align with Onsite’s brand and audience.
• Capture authentic, unscripted moments that reflect the heart of Onsite’s mission, using both planned shoots and real-time storytelling approaches.
• Edit quickly and efficiently—understanding pacing, music, text overlays, and storytelling structure to create scroll-stopping videos.
• Stay ahead of trends in short-form video, social media content styles, and editing techniques to keep Onsite’s content fresh and relevant.
• Ensure all technical aspects are top-tier, including lighting, sound, and visual quality, whether shooting in a studio or on-location.
• Manage media storage and organization to maintain efficiency in post-production.
• Work with autonomy and initiative, solving creative and logistical challenges on the fly.

WHO YOU ARE

• A fast-moving, highly creative storyteller who knows how to craft engaging, emotionally compelling content.
• Experienced in shooting and editing short-form video (preferably for social media, marketing, or brand storytelling).
• Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (Adobe Suite preferred).
• Have a strong understanding of social media trends, pacing, and visual storytelling (you know what makes people stop scrolling).
• Comfortable running a solo shoot—lighting, audio, framing, and directing talent when needed.
• Agile and adaptable—you work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

We’re open to candidates of all backgrounds and experience levels. However, you’ll likely thrive in this role if you have:

• 3 years of experience in videography, content creation, or social media video production.
• A portfolio demonstrating your ability to shoot and edit high-quality, engaging short-form content.
• Experience working in fast-paced, storytelling-driven brands or social media environments.
• A strong grasp of storytelling mechanics, visual composition, and cinematic techniques that create emotional impact.
