The Opportunity / Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include the design, organization, implementation, and scheduling of projects & installations.

As the Construction/Installations Manager, you will travel extensively throughout the lower 48 states and collaborate closely with various partners to ensure smooth project execution. Utilizing your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget and that inventory is maintained to support the successful completion of projects & installations.

Your expertise in project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful installation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to new locations to perform a site visit and work with the practice to obtain plans and/or field verify proposed locations to ensure that our equipment will be able to be placed on-site
  • Assist in the creation of room plan drawings and Construction Packets for new locations
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Oversee all on-site construction to monitor compliance with building, planning and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception and design to completion occasionally providing additional installation support on-site
  • Manage ordering, packing/shipping logistics for all equipment and supplies associated with each installation, while maintaining inventory and approving invoices for materials ordered
  • Select pertinent tools, materials and equipment
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Review the work progress on a weekly basis
  • Prepare internal and external reports/dashboards pertaining to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent and resolve problems while managing and mitigating risks
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft and review contracts and oversee the procurement of permits
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  • Perform all other duties as may be assigned
