The PC Technician , working under the supervision of the Enterprise Systems Administrator and reporting to the Director/CISO, ITS Infrastructure is responsible for:
Maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and repairing computer systems hardware and peripherals. The PC technician will also support end users and their client side software applications. The PC Technician primary tasking will come via work requests generated from the Help Desk. Secondarily, the PC Technician will be involved in annual technology refresh efforts. Occasionally, the PC Technician may be part of a project team for the introduction or upgrade of a software system. The PC Technician also participates in the ITS “on call” rotation.
Qualifications
High School graduate required; associates degree or higher preferred; technical degree with coursework in computer science highly desired. 2 or more years experience in PC and peripheral troubleshooting and maintenance, including end-user support required.
