Job Title: Logistics Trainer
Reports to: Director of Workforce (RTW)
Location: Dallas, TX | On-site
Compensation: $50,000 $65,000 annually

About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics Trainer who brings frontline experience and a passion for teaching to support adult learners entering or upskilling in the logistics industry. This role blends technical expertise with hands-on instruction, fostering growth in participants through safe and engaging training practices. Youll be central to delivering our Logistics offerings, including OSHA Workplace Safety, Forklift Operation, and other warehouse readiness certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate Logistics training sessions in both classroom and warehouse settings
- Train and certify participants in forklift operation and OSHA safety standards
- Use learner-centered techniques to support participants with limited technical backgrounds
- Evaluate trainee skill readiness and provide feedback to support job placement efforts
Curriculum Development
- Design and update training modules aligned with current warehouse operations standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop user guides, SOPs, and workflow diagrams
- Maintain learning content and job aids on SharePoint and internal platforms
Stakeholder Collaboration & Program Improvement
- Partner with internal teams and employer clients to identify emerging training needs
- Support quality assurance of training outcomes and adapt delivery accordingly
- Track and report on trainee progress, certification, and employment outcomes
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Competencies
- Ability to explain complex warehouse procedures to novice learners
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse learner populations
- Comfort with hands-on instruction and engaging group facilitation
Technical Expertise
- 35 years of experience in Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain
- Certified to operate and train on forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic SharePoint navigation
Other Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with adult learners or underserved populations
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- OSHA 10/30 Certification (trainer or general industry)
- Previous experience designing or delivering corporate training programs
