The Ontario Airport Hotel is under new ownership and is currently undergoing full renovation to transform our 309-room property into a premier destination for travelers. We are excited to enhance our offerings and create unforgettable experiences for our guests. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Food and Beverage Manager to lead all food and beverage outlets which include restaurant, kitchen, coffee bar, banquets and bar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing high-volume food and beverage departments, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive food and beverage strategies that align with the hotel's overall business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs, labor expenses, and revenue performance to ensure profitability.
- Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of culinary professionals.
- Drive exceptional guest experiences through innovative menu development, efficient service delivery, and attention to detail.
- Oversee daily operations, including food production, beverage service, and inventory management.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, sanitation, and safety.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations
· Develop and maintain all department Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications:
- Hospitality Management degree
- Minimum 3 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience
- Minimum 5 years of Hotel experience
- Proven track record of success in managing high-volume food and beverage operations.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comply with certification requirements as applicable for position to include San Bernardino Food Handlers, ServSafe Manager, TIPS Certification
Availability: The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands
