The Ontario Airport Hotel, a vibrant 309-room hotel, under new ownership, is embarking on an exciting renovation. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Front Desk Manager to assist with the daily operations of our front desk department. You will ensure excellent customer service and maintain quality standards to create a positive dining experience for our guests. The Ontario Airport Hotel is conveniently located 1 mile from the Ontario International Airport
Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing front desk team.
- Maintain cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and problems in a quick and efficient manner to maintain high customer satisfaction and quality service.
- Analyze and monitor key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and cost control.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hotel front desk management role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Hotel experience required
- Forecast and Budgeting experience preferred
Availability: The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands
