Guest Services Manager (5 yrs Hotel Experience Required)

The Ontario Airport Hotel, a vibrant 309-room hotel, under new ownership, is embarking on an exciting renovation. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Guest Services Manager to assist with the daily operations of our front desk department. You will ensure excellent customer service and maintain quality standards to create a positive dining experience for our guests. The Ontario Airport Hotel is conveniently located 2.5 miles from the Ontario International Airport

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front desk team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing front desk team.
  • Maintain cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Resolve customer issues, complaints, and problems in a quick and efficient manner to maintain high customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Analyze and monitor key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and financial transactions
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hotel front desk management role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Hotel experience required
  • Forecast and budgeting experience required.

Availability: The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
