What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor Agent position at Ontario Airport Hotel & Conference Center?
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality? The Ontario Airport Hotel and Conference center is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. As a Night Auditor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately reconcile daily revenue and expenses, including room rates, food and beverage sales, and other relevant accounts.
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all details are accurate
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Process payments and manage cash drawer
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment is a must
- Proficiency in using property management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS)
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
Schedule: This position is for Monday and Tuesday, overnight ***********
Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Availability: The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands
