The Ontario Airport Hotel is looking for a Banquet Server to join our team!
A Hotel Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during banquet events. They ensure the smooth running of events, set up and break down banquet halls, and serve food and beverages in a professional and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities::
- Assist in setting up banquet halls, tables, and chairs according to event specifications.
- Break down banquet halls and equipment after events.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure proper table settings and service standards.
- Refill beverage stations and clear plates and glasses.
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Handle food and beverages with care and follow proper hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with other banquet staff to ensure a smooth event.
- Assist with tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in banquets, is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Skills:

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
