Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction :
- Greet customers warmly, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Listen to customers' concerns and provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance or repairs.
Service Recommendations :
Inspect vehicles and evaluate customer concerns to identify necessary repairs or services.Provide clear and accurate explanations of recommended work, including costs and timelines.Service Scheduling :
Coordinate appointments to ensure efficient use of resources.Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and manage service timelines.Upselling and Cross-Selling :
Identify and recommend additional maintenance or repair services to enhance vehicle performance, safety, and longevity.Customer Service :
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.Build positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.Team Collaboration :
Work closely with technicians, service managers, and fellow advisors to maintain smooth workflows and effective communication.Operational Support :
Accurately record customer details, service needs, and repair descriptions in shop management systems.Collaborate with parts suppliers to ensure timely availability of components.Assist with payment processing and explain invoices to customers.Skills and Abilities
Interpersonal Skills : Build rapport with diverse customers and provide exceptional service.Technical Aptitude : Comfortable using Point of Sale systems, Google Docs, and Excel. Familiarity with TekMetric and AutoFlow is a plus but not required.Organizational Skills : Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and follow established processes.Team Player : Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a collaborative environment.Clean Work Habits : Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey information.Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.Valid state-issued driver's license.Previous customer service or automotive experience is preferred but not required.Comfortable using computers and answering phones in a professional setting.Core Values
