Job Summary:
A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is needed at Ontario Center, a long-term care facility in Canandaigua, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Duties:
- Observe and monitor the well-being of residents
- Report any health concerns or issues to the supervising nurse
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, shaving, and dressing
- Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements
- Maintain a clean and tidy living space for residents
- Transport residents within the facility as needed
- Prevent bedsores by regularly turning bedridden residents
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Successful completion of a CNA program
- Current CNA state certification
- Good standing with the state registry
