Position Overview:
The Ontario Professional Baseball Club is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manager of Group Sales to drive group ticket sales and event revenue at the ballpark. This role will focus on developing and executing strategies to attract group outings, including corporate events, schools, non-profits, and other organizations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive sales approach, exceptional customer service, and the ability to build strong community relationships while meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Group Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute group sales strategies to maximize revenue through corporate outings, schools, churches, non-profits, and other organizations.
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calls, networking, and community engagement.
- Sales Execution:
- Meet and exceed established group ticket sales revenue goals through outbound sales efforts, including phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
- Conduct stadium tours for potential clients, showcasing group seating options and event spaces.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional service to all group sales clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Act as the main point of contact for group leaders on event day, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Promotions and Packages:
- Work with the marketing department to create promotional packages and group sales campaigns.
- Collaborate on unique theme nights and community events to attract group attendance.
- Reporting and CRM Management:
- Track sales performance and maintain detailed records of client interactions in the club’s CRM system.
- Provide regular updates on progress toward group sales goals.
- Game Day Responsibilities:
- Oversee group experiences during home games, including managing ticket distribution, group seating, and special promotions.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of sales experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- 2 years of experience leading a ticket sales team.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ticketing platforms is required.
