Position Overview:
The Ontario Professional Baseball Club is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Manager of Season Ticket Sales to grow the club’s season ticket base and retain existing accounts. This role will focus on selling new season ticket packages, managing renewals, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all season ticket holders. The ideal candidate will be proactive in engaging clients, delivering superior service, and achieving sales targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Season Ticket Sales:
- Develop and implement strategies to sell new season ticket packages to businesses and individuals.
- Conduct outbound sales efforts, including cold calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to generate new business.
- Maintain a personal book of business and regularly prospect for new leads.
- Renewal and Retention:
- Manage the renewal process for all existing season ticket holders, ensuring a high retention rate.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional ticket packages, suites, and event opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for season ticket holders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
- Host exclusive events and experiences for season ticket holders to enhance their connection with the team.
- Sales Reporting:
- Track and report sales activities and progress toward goals.
- Maintain accurate records in the club’s CRM system.
- Game Day Responsibilities:
- Assist season ticket holders during home games, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of sales experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- 2 years of experience leading a ticket sales team.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
