Ontic’s Creedmoor, NC, site is home to a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group, including Firstmark, Twin Commander, and Metro Merlin. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace. 

 

Our team is looking for a Data Analyst to join them. You will report to the Strategic Financial Analyst and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC. 

 

To be considered for the Data Analyst opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: 

• US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• Must have strong Excel skills (Power Query, model building, sumifs, sumproduct, index/match, pivot tables, nested “if” statements, chart formatting).
• 3 years of experience in a data analysis role with a financial emphasis preferred.
• Advanced skills in Power BI and/or SQL preferred.
• Well versed with Microsoft Suite Products.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with various internal customers.
  
  

As a Data Analyst, you will: 

• Interface with Global Revenue Management team to maintain and develop consistent processes.
• Analyze business performance against budget, strategic goals, and M&A activity with in-depth understanding of key drivers contributing to each
• Provide management with evidence-based recommendations to support decision making.
• Develop and utilize data models using statistical analysis to understand impact of past pricing activities and opportunities for future pricing.
• Partner with Business Unit Directors, Senior Management, Sales, Business Development, and Program Management teams to understand and drive performance.
• Key driver of transition over to Power BI from Excel
• Improve current tools and develop new tools to price a high volume of low value orders.
• Determine when discounts are to be given.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement; Perform ad hoc analysis.

Salary Range

• $80,000-$90,000/year, based on experience
