Our team is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join them. You will report to the Sr. Pricing Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.
To be considered for the Pricing Analyst opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance, Economics or an Analytical field.
- 2 years of analyst experience in Pricing, Estimating, Purchasing, or Finance in an Aerospace or Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of aerospace aftermarket business, including brokers, repair stations, operators, and distributors preferred.
- Knowledge of US Government regulations concerning cost estimating and negotiation (FAR 12 & 15) preferred.
- Ability to work with Excel (model building, sumifs, sumproduct, index/match, pivot tables)
- Basic skills in Power BI or Tableau (or other Business Intelligence software).
- Provide timely and accurate strategic pricing in accordance with business objectives.
- Analyze cost data, past selling price trends, open market availability and market needs to establish profitable fair market price for our products.
- Work on projects involving pricing strategies.
- Utilize and develop pricing tools and procedures.
- Work closely with estimating, engineering, customer service & sales for the various business units. The analyst will act as a key partner in communicating pricing performance and aiding in critical decision-making activity.
- Support generating and analyzing of key metrics on quotation conversion, competitor pricing, and other measures of effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities within team and business for process improvement.
