Our team is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer II to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an on-site work structure in Chatsworth, CA.
To be considered for the Supplier Quality Engineer II opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you :
- A Bachelor's or Associate degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, an ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CQM), or a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in aerospace products and processes in a Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering role.
- Proficient experience in Quality Engineering principles, regulatory administration, and standards such as :
- FAA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 14 Part 21
- AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 9000 Quality Management System standards
- AS9102 First Article Inspection
- Root Cause and Corrective Action Investigation methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Apollo Root Cause Analysis)
- Six Sigma, Lean, and Statistical Analysis tools (e.g., SPC, Pareto)
- Mechanical inspection techniques, including Coordinated Measurement Machines (CMM)
- Familiarity with electronic / electrical inspection methods and acceptance criteria
