Job Summary & Responsibilities ONTO Innovation is seeking a Technical Account Manager for their Inspection Business Unit (IBU) products to promote the development of complex semiconductor processing equipment. The successful candidate will serve as the primary headquarters point of contact and product expert working with field sales to secure future business. Responsibilities will include: Developing expert level knowledge on the IBU product portfolio Cross-functional engagement with field sales, product management, engineering, operations, and executive leadership Respond to customer statements of work and specification documents to structure agreements that optimize benefit to customer and Onto Manage system configurations, quotes, and pricing Monitor and communicate internal build cycle of purchased systems Develop custom engineering request documents This role has significant and measurable impact on the success of the Inspection Business Unit. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical and creative thinking skills to thrive in an ambiguous environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or similar discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, Physics, or related) and a minimum of 3 years of experience; Must be comfortable interpreting engineering drawings, system block diagrams, electrical schematics, engineering specifications, and manufacturing requirements. Ability to work within a cross-functional team and motivate individuals without direct authority Takes initiative to begin projects independently Strong interpersonal skills; Especially presentation and story-telling skills Leader and motivator of personnel Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Semiconductor/Semiconductor capital equipment experience is strongly preferred. Experience with Inspection and Metrology a plus.
