Semiconductor Metrology Engineer Trainee

We're seeking a talented Electrical Technician to join our team at Onto Innovation. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components for our semiconductor metrology equipment. You will have the opportunity to engage in electronic engineering and contribute to the development of a new semiconductor metrology platform. • Design and develop electrical systems and components for semiconductor metrology equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
• Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and diagrams under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform electronic wiring, soldering, and crimping to ensure high-quality connections and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering, identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively of work performed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards during all phases of electrical work.

We're looking for someone with a Bachelor degree or certification in Electronic Engineering Technology and experience in an Electrical Technician role in relevant electronic industries. You should also have a basic understanding of electrical design principles and CAD software applications.
