OnTrack Staffing is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of industrial equipment, including water jets, ovens, and presses. This role requires expertise in electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, with a focus on ensuring optimal machine performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including water jet machines, ovens, and presses.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry’s best practices and emerging technologies to enhance maintenance processes.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa) as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of electro-pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs and industrial automation systems.
- Experience with robotic systems, particularly ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa, is a significant advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.
- Mentor and train junior technicians and new employees on best practices and safety procedures
- Actively participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as needed
