Job Details

  • Labor and Delivery position at Onvida Health Yuma Medical Center
  • Department : Labor and Delivery
  • Average 9 births per day, 250 a month, 3000 per year
  • Must be able to perform vaginal exams and assist in C-sections
  • Experience with fetal monitoring and postpartum care is required

    • Job Requirements

  • Required Certifications : BLS, NRP, AWHONN-Intermediate or Advanced
  • Must have experience with high-risk pregnancies and neonatal care
  • Spanish speaking preferred

    • Schedule Information

  • Shifts : 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM
  • Weekend Requirements : 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
  • Holiday Requirements : Typically 2 / 3 holidays, includes eve / day of
  • Low Census On Call requirement

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Charge Nurse on each shift
  • OB Techs available on unit
  • Floating to NICU / Peds / Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment
