Job Details
Hospital in Southern Arizona is looking for RNs to complete a 13 week assignment on their Med Surg Tower 4 unit.
The right candidates will have 3 years of experience and have an active BLS.
Job Requirements
3 years of experience required.
Active AZ state license or Compact license required.
EPIC experience required.
Required certifications : BLS. Preferred : ACLS.
Schedule Information
Shift : 6 : 45 - 7 : 15 am / pm.
Weekend Requirement : Every other.
Holiday Requirement : Typically 2 / 3 holidays.
Unit Specific Information
Department : MedSurg | Tele | Ortho.
Common titratable & / or set rate drips : May see heparin on occasion.
Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit : PCA. 1 : 8-12.
RT Equipment : Bipap stable trachs, no changes to settings. Post surgical trachs- must be able to suction, trach care. Drains-JP, wound vacs-have wound care RN, ostomies.
Are there tele / monitor techs on this unit : Tele on this unit, dedicated monitor tech will assist with reading tele but RN will need to ID significant anomalies and alert care team as necessary.
