Job Summary: Onward Resources is seeking dedicated and hardworking Midstream Laborer to join our team in the transportation, storage, and maintenance of oil and gas infrastructure. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in both individual and team settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in outdoor labor and will be comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Construction and Maintenance: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines used to transport oil, natural gas, and other petroleum products.
- Operation of Equipment: Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in pipeline construction, storage facilities, and transportation, including pumps, compressors, and trucks.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain and repair storage tanks, pipelines, and associated infrastructure to ensure the system is running efficiently and safely.
- Inspection and Monitoring: Regularly inspect pipelines and other infrastructure for signs of wear, damage, or leaks. Report any issues to supervisors and assist with corrective actions.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in safety drills and maintain awareness of hazards associated with the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Site Cleanup and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work site, including disposing of waste materials and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Emergency Response: Be ready to respond to emergency situations such as spills, leaks, or accidents, and assist in mitigation efforts.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of work completed, maintenance activities, and inspection findings.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, oil and gas, or related industries preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in outdoor conditions in all weather types.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with operating basic construction tools and equipment. Training in the use of specialized pipeline or storage facility equipment is a plus.
- Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures, especially in hazardous environments.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members, both in writing and verbally.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (such as First Aid/CPR, OSHA, or HAZWOPER) are a plus.
