My direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Technology team to build responsive, accessible, and high-performance web-based learning tools. This is a 3 – month contract possible extension. The team is located in Ohio, and the role is fully remote (working East Coast hours). Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.
Full Stack Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and marketing teams to create products that customers love.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from technical design to development and testing.
- Implement and monitor cloud-based infrastructure using observability platforms.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of applications through cloud-native development.
- Work in various layers of the software stack, including front-end, back-end, and database development.
- Take ownership of the quality, performance, and maintainability of the codebase.
Full Stack Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or 5 years of equivalent experience
- Experience with Angular, AWS, Spring, Containerization, and Java
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline, and Observability
- Hands on writing code for full stack position
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborate in the team environment
