We’re seeking a talented Industrial Designer for a 12-month contract opportunity with a renowned American consumer health and beauty company. This flexible hybrid position is based in Summit, NJ (Montgomery Township), offering the chance to work with a creative team on cutting-edge packaging design projects for leading beauty and personal care brands.
As an Industrial Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Creative Design Team, overseeing the design and execution of physical packaging projects from concept to production.
You’ll work closely with the Design Manager to drive innovation and deliver high-quality, functional packaging for personal care products and consumer goods.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of physical packaging projects for personal care and consumer packaged goods.
Collaborate with the Design Manager to bring breakthrough beauty packaging designs to life.
Manage end-to-end manufacturing processes for items like bottles, closures, cartons, tubes, and packaging for retail and e-commerce distribution.
Oversee the entire product development process, from initial concept to final production including the overall design of a product, including its aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturing considerations.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, or Product Design in the CPG or Beauty / Skincare Industry.
5 years of experience as an Industrial Designer, Packaging or Product Designer with with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and functional designs and able to articulate your Design Thinking, Strategy, Design Storytelling.
Experience working with consumer brands, especially in industries such as cosmetics, electronics, or consumer goods.
Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar parametric surface modeling software).
Expertise in Keyshot and Adobe Creative Suite .
Familiarity with 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA).

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must last a minimum of 10 weeks.
