Join our client's dynamic Marketing Design team, where your creativity will shine as you edit and animate captivating digital content for a variety of social platforms and paid media. This role is a temporary opportunity to cover maternity leave, offering a chance to bring stories to life across social and streaming platforms!
This is a full-time 3 month maternity leave opportunity.
The role is remote, but seeking candidates only local to NYC, NY! The application deadline for this opportunity is Monday, March 31st, 2025.
Motion Designer/Video Editor Responsibilities:
- Edit engaging short-form videos, including trailers, sizzles, commercials, and b-roll.
- Animate compelling motion graphics tailored for digital and paid media.
- Adapt long-form content to fit social media platforms effectively.
- Collaborate seamlessly with creative directors, producers, and designers.
- Manage post-production tasks, including sound mixing, to ensure high-quality output.
- Uphold high brand and creative standards consistently.
- Stay informed on the latest design trends and tools to keep content fresh and innovative.
Motion Designer/Video Editor Requirements:
- Must have 4 years of experience in video editing and motion design, whether in an agency or in-house setting.
- A strong portfolio and reel showcasing your expertise.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere for editing and workflow, After Effects for motion design and animation, as well as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Exceptional storytelling and sound design capabilities.
- Experience working with stock footage and scratch tracks.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
Bonus Skills (Preferred)
- Experience in the entertainment and social media sectors.
- Familiarity with creative resources in commercials and film.
- A degree in Design, Fine Art, Advertising, or a related field.
