Onward Search is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Occupational Therapist to support students and educators in Sumner, WA. We partner with schools to provide highly skilled professionals who make a lasting impact on students' success. This full-time, in-person opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative and student-focused environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Sumner, WA
- Setting: On-site (no virtual or hybrid option)
- Age Group: Elementary
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, School Hours
- Hours: Guaranteed up to 32 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to inform student support plans.
- Provide consultation services to teachers, parents, and staff to enhance student success.
- Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation.
- Work closely with educators and support teams to ensure effective implementation of therapy interventions.
- Monitor and document students' progress, contributing updates to IEPs as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Washington.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
