We're seeking a Paid Media Campaign Manager to support a retail client. This role combined with strategic and tactical duties, so you'll need to generate insights for campaign optimization independently. You’ll be responsible for offering expertise in optimization strategies and guiding best practices for client communication.
The ideal candidate has experience in online trafficking, campaign management, bid management platforms, and active campaign optimization. Strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach are essential qualities for success in this role.
This is a full-time project opportunity through January 2026 with the potential to extend. The role is in Hoboken, NJ, and the work is on a hybrid basis (1-2 days/week on-site, other days remote).
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, manage, and optimize managed service and self-service campaigns.
- Understand campaign tactics across the marketing funnel, including upper-funnel (brand messaging, calls to action) and lower-funnel (direct response, conversion) strategies.
- Define success metrics and measure campaign performance using internal analytics.
- Maintain diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to best practices throughout each campaign's life cycle, from pre-sale to post-sale.
- Organize campaign documentation in the team’s shared repository.
- Lead daily campaign maintenance, handling internal inquiries on tracking and campaign status.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams through excellent client service.
- Traffic campaign tags across ad tech environments.
- Oversee the QA process to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and performance.
- Develop proposals for new client opportunities.
- Manage the delivery of creative assets, insertion orders, and other campaign materials for launch.
- Provide clients with regular insights on performance, optimizations, and new opportunities.
- Collaborate with media partners to ensure proper platform implementation.
- Troubleshoot issues during pre-production and live campaigns.
- Prepare campaign wrap-up and monthly auditing reports, and adjust billing systems as needed.
- Attend client meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or arelated field is required.
- 2 years of experience in bid management, campaign management/optimization, or digital media operations.
- Previous experience managing a media mix of more than one platform and channels, especially in paid channels such as Display, Mobile, Social, Search, and Programmatic.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to identify risks and effectively manage through issues.
- Understanding of traditional and interactive media planning elements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to provide partners with guidance on best practices and areas for improvement.
- Experience using SQL and Tableau.
