What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech Pathologist position at Onward Search?
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Onward Search. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
In this full-time contract position, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. You will also provide therapy in individual and group settings, monitor and document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Responsibilities include assessing students' communication skills, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and parents to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom.
- You will also educate staff and families on speech and language development strategies, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
- DOE SSP - Special Service Provider
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Please note that prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus.
