Onward Search is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Physical Therapist to join a dynamic school team in Wayne County, MI . This in-person opportunity is available for a full-time schedule, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the remainder of the school year.
Details You Should Know :
Location : In-person (no virtual or hybrid option)
Schedule : Full-time, Monday - Friday
Hours : Weekly guaranteed hours up to 32 for full-time
Grade Levels : K-12
Start Date : 03 / 03 / 2025
End Date : End of the 2025 school year
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct physical therapy evaluations to inform consultation and direct service plans.
Provide consultation services to teachers, parents, and staff to support students' functional and academic needs.
Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Develop and share strategies to enhance students' motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation.
Collaborate with school teams to address student goals and ensure effective implementation of support strategies.
Monitor and document progress toward therapy goals, contributing updates to IEPs as necessary.
Qualifications :
Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Michigan.
Doctorates degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
