Join our client's team as a Product Development Associate, where you'll play a pivotal role in steering the product lifecycle from design hand-off through to production. This position demands exceptional project management skills, as you will coordinate with vendors and collaborate closely with design, merchandising, production, and sales teams.

Product Development Associate (Merchant Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Drive the product development process, ensuring adherence to key milestones on the product calendar. Oversee design submissions and samples from initial development to production, specifically for wholesale channels. Identify potential risks and devise solutions to maintain timeline integrity.
• Collaboration and Communication: Partner with designers, cross-functional teams, and overseas vendors to meet product deadlines. Engage in fit sessions to ensure garments align with brand standards. Participate in product line reviews to align on development goals. Support sales by ensuring timely and accurate sample execution for go-to-market meetings. Communicate retailer-specific requirements to vendors and assist in tech pack reviews.
• Data Integrity and Maintenance: Develop and manage product development trackers to monitor progress and ensure alignment with production deadlines. Assist in creating visual aids for sales using Adobe Illustrator. Maintain accurate product information and item setups.

Product Development Associate (Merchant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in apparel product development, ideally in childrenswear.
• Proven ability to manage the product lifecycle in a dynamic environment.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with overseas vendors and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is advantageous.
