The successful candidate will be passionate about news, politics, science, and weather, and will have the ability to develop and produce original content that resonates with audiences of all ages.Key Responsibilities : Develop and produce highly shareable original content for platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTokStay informed about societal trends and use this knowledge to create fresh and original content ideasAttend daily Content Strategy Sessions and independently pitch and produce original digital contentAssist reporters and anchors in creating native social contentMentor junior team members in all aspects of development, production, and community managementCoordinate with local news teams on coverage plans when necessitated by breaking news or major eventsPreferred Experience : BA in Film / Television / Video Production / Journalism and / or minor in Graphic DesignMinimum 5-7 years hands-on experience in all aspects of video productionOperational knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other creative softwareExperience in front of the camera and a strong personality to matchImpeccable spelling and grammar, a deep understanding of social media trends, and vertical video editing skillsThe ideal candidate will be highly motivated, extremely organized, and possess a uniquely creative mind.
