Onward Search is excited to partner with a school in Adams County, CO, to find a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Case Manager for a full-time, in-person role. Details You Should Know :
Location : In-person only (no hybrid or virtual options)
Caseload : Managing special education services across three schools, focusing on assessments, testing, and IEP management.
Student Age / Grade Level : K-8
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for K-8 students to determine initial eligibility for special education services.
Develop, write, and monitor IEPs to meet the specific needs of each student.
Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the effective implementation of IEPs. Provide guidance and support to educators on best practices for accommodations and modifications.
Oversee and coordinate services for students across three schools, ensuring that timelines are met and progress is monitored.
Track and analyze student progress to adjust interventions as needed, ensuring academic, social, and behavioral goals are achieved.
Act as the primary contact for families, maintaining open lines of communication to discuss student needs and progress.
Qualifications :
Active Special Education Teacher License in Colorado.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience writing and implementing IEPs.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
