We are currently seeking a Studio / Dev Operations Contractor for a global leader in the entertainment industry, renowned for its innovative culture and world-class gaming experiences.
In this 4-6 month contract role, located in Boston, MA (hybrid) , you’ll join a dynamic management team to oversee studio operations. Your responsibilities will range from event coordination to office maintenance and executive support, ensuring a smooth, collaborative, and efficient work environment for the studio.
Key Responsibilities :
Workplace Environment Management : Support the creation of an inspiring and efficient workspace by coordinating facilities, office design, maintenance, and remote work support (health & safety, admin, and infrastructure needs).
Collaborative Support : Partner with IT to manage security protocols, tools / software rollouts, and hardware requirements for studio employees.
Onboarding & HR Coordination : Help new hires transition seamlessly into the team through onboarding processes and best practices, in collaboration with Production, HR, and Hiring Managers.
Project & Meeting Management : Lead and manage operations-focused projects, ensuring timely completion by coordinating meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.
Transparency & Communication : Maintain clear and transparent communication between Blizzard shared services teams and the Boston studio leadership, providing updates on current and upcoming priorities, as well as potential risks.
Event Planning : Oversee and execute team events in line with company guidelines, promoting team bonding and celebrating milestones.
Executive Support : Manage scheduling, including meetings, trainings, and travel arrangements for studio leadership. Provide ongoing administrative and logistical support.
Expense & Invoice Management : Reconcile expenses, process purchase orders, and handle invoices for events, projects, and facilities-related needs.
Problem-Solving : Take on ad hoc projects and troubleshoot issues within the scope of the role, ensuring smooth studio operations.
Required Qualifications :
5 years of experience in Office / Studio Operations or Executive Support roles.
Experience with Facilities Support , Office Coordination , and Event Management is highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on big-picture goals.
High level of discretion and tact when handling sensitive matters.
