About the Role:
The Sr. Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the corporate finance team by managing financial operations and conducting detailed analyses to drive decision-making. Reporting to a Finance Manager, the Sr. Analyst will oversee the financial performance of approximately 20 business units. This is a highly visible position requiring a proactive, problem-solving individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proforma analyses to evaluate potential new locations or acquisitions (e.g., analyzing volumes and profitability metrics).
- Own financial operations for assigned business units, including P&L management, EBITDA add-backs, and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with Regional Directors and Administrators to ensure accurate financial reporting and support decision-making (not involved in presenting during operational reports).
- Build and maintain complex Excel models to support forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc analyses.
- Demonstrate initiative and curiosity in addressing challenges, identifying efficiencies, and presenting actionable insights.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least 3 years in corporate finance roles such as FP&A, Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), or similar.
Skills:
- Strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis.
- Expertise in Excel and working with P&L statements.
- Solid understanding of EBITDA add-backs and other financial concepts.
Personality Traits:
- Intuitive and curious; able to think independently and solve problems effectively.
- High energy, with a "get-after-it" mindset. Flexibility is offered, but this role requires more than a standard 40-hour workweek.
