Job Title: Senior Guidewire Developer PolicyCenter with Cloud Experience
Location: San Antonio or Plano, TX (Hybrid)
6-12 Months Contract

Rate: $65/Hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer with deep experience in the PolicyCenter module and strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will work on complex insurance implementations, leading configuration, integration, and development efforts across the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter
solutions. - Configure and customize PolicyCenter using Gosu scripting, Guidewire Studio, and other platform tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Integrate PolicyCenter with external systems using web services (SOAP/REST) and messaging frameworks.
- Deploy and manage Guidewire applications in cloud environments (preferably AWS or Azure).
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in Guidewire implementations with a strong focus on PolicyCenter.
- Expert in Gosu programming, Guidewire Data Model, and UI Configuration.
- Experience in cloud deployment models and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, especially on AWS/Azure.
- Experience integrating with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter.
- Experience with other Guidewire modules like BillingCenter or ClaimCen
ter is a plus. - Prior experience in a cloud migration project for a Guidewire suite.
- Exposure to modern DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible.
- Insurance industry experience, especially in P&C (Property & Casualty).
