ONX Wines is hiring a part-time weekend Tasting Room Greeter to join our team. This role is for an enthusiastic and friendly individual who will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Tasting Room Greeter will greet guests upon entry and lead them to a tasting experience with one of our Hospitality team members. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcomes guests upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Escorts guests to their tasting area and introduces them to their designated Hospitality team member.
- Provides excellent customer service, addressing any immediate questions or needs guests may have.
- Ensures the entry area is organized and that guests are directed smoothly to their tastings. Collaborates closely with the Hospitality team to ensure seamless service and communication.
- Adheres to all safety and compliance regulations, including age verification as necessary.
- Prepares the tasting room by following the opening and closing procedures.
- Manages cleanliness and appearance of all tasting room areas.
- Assists in stocking the tasting room with wine, supplies, glasses, bags, and merchandise daily.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to lift 45 - 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have an interest in wine.
- Must have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills; ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to freely initiate conversations.
- Must have the ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively.
- Must be available to work weekends and holiday weekends, specifically from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Upon hire, successfully completes ServSafe training (food handler certification) and Workplace Harassment Prevention training.
