We are seeking a highly experienced Concrete Specialist with quality control lab expertise and comprehensive knowledge in concrete mix design, capable of utilizing the latest construction techniques to enhance our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Concrete Mix Design: Develop, evaluate, and optimize advanced concrete mix designs to meet complex project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• QC Lab Operations: Oversee and conduct in-depth lab tests on raw materials and finished concrete products, ensuring quality standards are met and results are meticulously documented.
• Material Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of aggregates, cementitious materials, and admixtures to guarantee high-quality inputs.
• Innovative Construction Techniques: Implement the most recent construction methodologies for concrete preparation, placement, and curing processes.
• Problem Solving and Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to concrete performance, suggesting enhancements in mix designs and construction processes.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all concrete activities align with local and international standards such as ASTM, ACI, and other applicable codes.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of mix designs, test outcomes, and QC procedures, generating detailed reports for project teams and senior management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to deliver superior construction solutions on schedule.
• Mentoring and Training: Lead, mentor, and train junior engineers and technicians in QC practices and advanced mix design techniques.
• Safety Protocols: Enforce adherence to safety regulations and protocols during all lab and field activities.
Qualifications:
• Education: BE-CIVIL or Engineering in Construction Management or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
• Well experienced in concrete quality control, mix design, and lab work.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in concrete mix design and quality control testing.
• Familiarity with modern and innovative construction techniques.
• Certifications: ACI Certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with relevant mix design and QC reporting tools (eg: MS Office, AutoCAD, specialized concrete design software)
