What You Will Be Doing
This position works with the Engineering and Operations, for planning and overseeing precast installations to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget in accordance with safety, quality and environmental procedures.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee a team of installers responsible for installing major components.
- Schedule and oversee the installation of precast components.
- Ensures adherence to specifications and established policies and procedures.
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of work.
- Planning & preparing schedules for Concreting, Production, Erection and Grouting.
- Leading teams for Installation/Erection of Precast Elements.
- Provide training & guidance to team members to accomplish erection goals.
- Follow best practices to improve erection capacity, quality, safety & reliability.
- Ensure all installation plans and sections are matching with workshop drawings.
- Ensure documentation of erected elements and stock elements at yard.
- Ensure elements designations in installation drawings are tallying with production drawings.
- Ensure fixing details are clear to the installation team.
- Ensure special requirements for temporary fixing or bracing till final installation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.) or similar field.
- 8 Years of experience in Precast Installation which includes but not limited to setting out, site preparation, lifting & installation, grouping, join casting & sealing.
