PROCUREMENT– SUPPLYCHAIN – SENIOR ROLE
Role: Reporting to the VP – Supply Chain on a day-to-day basis and oversees several key functions within the supply chain department that enable the delivery of a high-quality service to end users and to ensure Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs. This position is a stakeholder facing role and requires that you establish and manage expectations within the business and drive the Supply Chain team to achieve those expectations to a high standard. This description reflects the core activities of the role but is not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties within the group/department may be required in addition to changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time. There is a requirement for the candidate holding this position to recognize this and adopt a flexible approach to work.
Required Skill Sets:

Experience in procurement within Construction industry preferably
Leadership and Team Management skills
Advanced degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (Ex - CSCP, CPSM etc)
Familiarity with international procurement regulations and practices

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise
- Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
- Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, provide guidance and support to achieve departmental goal
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased.
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement.
