Position Summary:
The Supply Quality Management Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of materials and components sourced for ONX Homes’ manufacturing processes. This role involves evaluating supplier performance, implementing quality control processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to uphold ONX Homes' quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
➢ Establish, manage and implement the Supplier Quality Management system, incorporating all specification, internal standards and customer requirements
➢ Conduct periodic inspection and audit of the supplier/subcontractors and their products
➢ Work out Supplier performance evaluation system to measure and review Suppliers performance to provide data for the Procurement team
➢ Develop positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing, Supply Chain, Technology and Engineering Leaders to manage and implement supplier / engineering changes, New Product introductions and transfers
➢ Lead Cost Out Initiatives and Special Projects as assigned outside of Quality to support Global Strategic Sourcing Objectives
➢ Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as cost of failure, supplier recovery, defect rate, supplier quality plan engagement/effectiveness and corrective and preventative action closure
➢ Support / Manage local SQE teams to plan, organize, implement and direct the application of assigned external inspection resources to assure delivery of products and/or services that meets established requirements and fulfills customer needs and expectations
➢ Establish goals, work plans and budgets such that lowest cost and highest quality results are achieved
➢ Drive quality accountability with top critical suppliers and launch continuous improvement projects with suppliers ➢ Work with Suppliers to develop and execute a Supplier Development Program for strategic suppliers that are below the established criteria
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in supply quality management, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or modular housing industry.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and supplier evaluation methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques for quality monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for supplier engagement.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software.
