Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center Technician, you will be an integral part of maintaining and supporting the physical infrastructure for the for data center initiative. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge AI hardware, ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability across high-performance computing data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, GPUs, and networking equipment.
- Conduct regular audits of hardware and environmental systems (power, cooling, and space utilization).
- Perform hardware upgrades, including memory, processors, and storage devices.
- Monitor system health using dashboards and respond promptly to incidents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new technologies and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of experience in data center environments or IT infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise servers, networking, and storage systems.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server , Network , or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as required.
Work Environment
- Rotating shifts with occasional on-call responsibilities.
- Opportunities to work on advanced AI technologies and contribute to national-scale projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
