Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our heavy civil infrastructure projects. This includes developing project plans, coordinating with clients, and managing project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.
- Ensure accurate estimates by overseeing quantity takeoff, contract negotiation, and buyout processes.
- Maintain up-to-date project schedules, track progress, and identify potential roadblocks.
- Collaborate with construction crews to procure materials and equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and review project costs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in public or private site work.
- Prior experience on MADOT projects is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders.
