Barista/Server

We are going to be an indoor golf facility that will have great coffee and beer! The barista is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. The barista is also responsible for educating customers about our premium coffees and Beer. The barista fulfils any other duties the store manager, assistant manager or shift supervisor assigns and represents Onyx Cafe

Skills

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Program, Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Requires high organization and great attention to detail
• Performs with a “sense of urgency” and possesses a positive attitude.

Education & Experience

• Barista Experience
• Register and Apple pay
• Golf experience a plus

Physical Requirements

• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Regularly required to handle food, hot beverages, and work with sharp objects
• Frequent standing and walk for long periods of time, approximately 90% of shift
• Ability to bend over and kneel frequently
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; occasionally carry up to 25 pounds
• Required to work in cold temperatures for long periods of time
