About Us

Onyx Integrative Medicine & Aesthetics is a naturopathic medical office that provides health and wellness services including vitamin IVs, acupuncture & cupping, medical aesthetics (botox, fillers, PDO threads, chemical peels, microneedling etc), as well as naturopathic health consults for a variety of health conditions (hormones, mental health, autoimmunity, fertility, digestion & more). We are currently a team of three doctors. All of our services are self-pay since we do not accept insurance. We are open Monday through Friday. Full training will be provided so you are comfortable answering questions and using our software.

What we are looking for

We are looking to add a competent, dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced medical administrative assistant to our team. Our clinic is FAST PACED so the ideal candidate must be a quick learner, a great multi-tasker, and have impeccable attention to detail. They should be able to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively and have a warm and inviting demeanor. We are also looking for a person with experience and/or familiarity with naturopathic medicine.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Checking patients in upon arrival and checking out/rebooking/taking payments
  • Answering phone calls and assisting people with booking an appointment, changing appointments, or answering questions they have
  • Fielding texts, voicemails, faxes, and email inquiries
  • Answering questions about our practice
  • Creating lab orders
  • Calling in prescriptions and creating E-scriptions
  • Re-ordering of medical supplies
  • Personally assisting doctors with small duties
  • Light cleaning duties (bathrooms, cleaning cups, turning over rooms)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in medical administrative support and office management
  • Proficient in medical records management and patient service
  • Strong clerical skills with familiarity in front desk operations
  • Knowledge of EHR systems
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
  • Excellent computer skills, including MacBook/Apple, Google Office

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
